Janelle is a great transitional piece for spring or fall, flattering to many body types. It’s intended to have positive ease, and has a slight A-line shape. Actual garment measurements at the fullest point of the bust are listed below (Measurements at hem are 5-6” bigger):

S: 37.5”/95 cm
M: 41”/104 cm
L: 44”/112 cm
XL: 48”/112 cm
XXL: 52”/132 cm

The front and back are knitted separately, then the shoulder seams are sewn and the sleeves are made by picking up loops around the armhole. Sleeve caps are made with short rows. The lace pattern at the hem and yoke is a simple 4-row repeat that’s easily memorized.

Approximate yardage: 1100/1300/1450/1750/1950 yards (1006/1189/1326/1699.1783 m)

While you can achieve the correct gauge with heavier yarn (such as DK), I recommend using sport weight yarn for this pattern, to achieve a better drape.)
