This pattern is a 6 stitch repeat. With a gauge of 6 stitches to the inch, you can very, very easily size this cowl for any circumference you desire. Just add or subtract a repeat per inch. (Pattern is written for 21” circumference.)

The colorwork pattern for this cowl is VERY easy. Every row (except for two solid color rows) in the chart is a combination of four stitches of one color and two stitches of the other color in a 6 stitch repeat across the entire row.

I included picture instructions for picking up and knitting the accent edging, if desired.

I designed this cowl so that I could give it towards local charity knitting efforts for Japan. Feel free to use it for that purpose, or for your own personal use.
