“This yarn was given to me by my mother who originally wanted me to use it to make a baby gift for her college professors new born. After the yarn arrived in the mail my mother decided she didn’t think it was the right yarn for the hat that she had wanted me to make with it so I asked if I could have it. I knew right away that I wanted to make a sideways scarf with it. The way the colors striped was perfect for it. I wanted to keep the design itself simple to better show off this great yarn. When I was finished my mother said it was the best item I had made and I completely credit the Noro yarn company because they make such awesome yarn in beautiful color ways. I named the scarf Jawbreaker because the colors make me think of hard, sweet and sour candy.”
