Any lace weight yarn will work fine. 1000 yards makes the short version of the stole (sized for a 5 foot tall (in heels) person. The stole can be lengthened as desired by knitting more of the repeat section. The pattern will be available online on November 1, 2008. The pattern contains both charts and written instructions.
