A ribbed, cloche style hat cinched at one side with a bow or band, worked in chunky yarn. Main portion of hat is worked sideways to create a ring, then stitches are picked up from this ring to form the crown. Suitable for beginners comfortable with working with double-pointed needles. A very quick knit!
