With 16 gores, a swingy pointed hem, and an attractive checkerboard design at the bottom, this linen skirt is feminine and flattering. Thanks to a stretchy purchased fabric, your waistline will look sleek and elegant.

Construction Notes: Skirt is knit from the hip* down on a
circular needle. There are 16 sections in the skirt. Except
for the applied hem, the entire skirt is worked in
stockinette st (knit every round) and garter stitch (purl
one rnd; knit one rnd).
A purchased elastic top is sewn to the top of the skirt,
and this part will sit at the waist.
