Very versatile pattern that can easily be made for a boy or a girl, created in the best effort to ensure that when crocheting is done cardigan is done!

Construction: This cardigan is crocheted from the top down in one piece with no sewing. The collar is worked first, then increases are made for shoulders. Sleeves are separated and the cardigan is worked from underarm downward to hips. Then the sleeves are worked.

Elephant appleque adds very special touches and makes this cardigan very unique.

The possibilities are endless. Choose any fingering weight yarn in any number of col-ors. Here are just few suggestions for customization:
 One color look: Work whole cardigan in MC (neutral, varigated, earth tones or bright solids) with appliqué in CC.
 Striped look: Work cardigan in 2-3 colors making each stripe 2 rows wide, make ap-pliqué and collar in one of the colors.
 Accentuating stripes: Work most of the cardigan in MC, making 2 or more stripes in CC on the chest.
 Layered T-shirt look: Work body and few rows of sleeves in MC, switch to CC for the remainder of sleeves (Instructions are included).
 Instructions for optional ribbed cuff are included.
