Hey, hey…..it’s a Monkey! You asked for it and you got it, I am here to please. And, what’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys anyways?

A little more info on the pattern:
Yarn: 150-200 yards of yarn in your main color and 60-90 yards of yarn in your contrast color
Gauge: You pick! Simply knit with your choice of yarn on needles 2-3 sizes smaller than called for to get a tight knit fabric your stuffing wont show through,
Needles: You pick! A 36”+ circular needle in a size to make a tight knit fabric with your choice of yarn that the stuffing wont show through plus one additional needle in the same size (for three-needle bind off). See the pattern for more info
Notions: safety eyes or scrap yarn, waste yarn in the same weight (but different color) from your working yarn, tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers, stuffing, straight pins, row counter.
Skill Level: Easy
Skills used: Basic knit and purl stitches, increases, decreases, knitting in the round, Magic Loop, picking up stitches, three needle bind off, holding live stitches and coming back to them later. This pattern is written using the Magic Loop method (which is just one way of working in the round), it can also be done on dpn’s or a small circular needle.
