I wrote the tutorial for Jersey stitch in rows earlier this year (you can find that tutorial here In rounds it is is even easier! It is like a combination of Moss/Linen stitch and waistcoat/split single crochet.

Start your first round with the number of stitches you require and do a normal round of moss sc1, ch1, skp1 repeated.
The next row is when the jersey stitch start. The sc1’s will go into the centre of the sc1 below it, the ch1, skp1 will skip the ch1, below it. It is worked amigurumi style with no definition between the rounds so a stitch marker in your first stitch is useful.
