Pattern description from Stitch ‘N Bitch Nation: “The idea for this sweater came to me one night from an episode of Monster Garage. I was knitting a sweater for one of my kinds and watching the show when Jesse James made a comment about projects and designs, saying, ‘everything looks cooler with flames.’ And a sweater pattern was born. Of course, Jesse was referring to the detailed, freestyle flames that adorn his Monster Garage projects and custom motorcycles, but I spent many nights trying to come up with a flam design that would look cool, be fun to knit, and stand out in a crowd. I think this sweater does just that.”
