Jess’s Cowl is a long, lacy cowl worked in one of the dreamy Freia Ombre laceweights. It takes one ball to complete the cowl. The body works up in three colors; the inside edging works up in one color; and the outside edging works up in the last two colors in the ball.

The cowl is 45 inches around and 8.5 inches in width. I did not block it.

Stitches used: chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, triple (treble) crochet, slip stitch.

Special stitch combinations: puff stitches and picots

The pattern pdf includes 10 photos. There are close up photos of the inside and outside edgings and the seam.

You will notice in the pattern pdf that I say the “G” hook is 4.25 mm. This is because I used a Brittany hook to complete the cowl.
