Jet Stream is a hat and scarf set designed for a guy in Aran or heavy worsted weight yarn. The hat is knit from the bottom up in the round and the top finishes with a garter stitch rectangle that finishes with a Russian garter stitch graft joining the seam. (It’s easy! Directions are provided.) No double points needed! The scarf is knit in the round and can be worn looped twice around the neck or one end slipped through the loop to look like a necktie. Hat knit with 125 yards on size 7 - 16” circular. 21” around x 8.5” deep. Scarf knit with 250 yards on size 9 - 16-24” circular. After washing and laying scarf flat it measured 68” x 6”. Options are given for making a smaller cowl with 100-150 yards. This is a four page pattern.
