jetsam is the term for floating pieces of rubbish thrown deliberately from a ship. this blanket is a stashbuster. use your own jetsam and create something useful and beautiful again.

needles: US 10.5 (6.5mm) circular needles PLUS dpns OR circular needles long enough for magic loop, or size needed to obtain gauge
note: you will need varying cable lengths for your circular needles as the blanket grows, including connectors for connecting multiple cables

yarn: 1200g of worsted weight scraps, held double throughout pattern
note: depending on the type(s) of yarns used, yardage may vary widely. 1200g is a safe amount to use without running out of yardage, but the real beauty of this project is that you can add any worsted weight yarn to it if you find you are running out!

notions: 8 stitch markers

gauge: 14 stitches x 17 rounds = 4” (10cm), over stockinette stitch, worked in the round, blocked
