Jillian is a sweater with an open neckline and flattering shaping that will appeal to women of any age! Pick bright colors and wear it over a tank top for a more casual look, or choose more subtle shades for an elegant sweater fit for the workplace. Either way, you’ll end up with a wardrobe staple you’ll reach for again and again.

Jillian is a raglan sweater that is knit from the top down. Women who are short-waisted might choose to make a 2-color version - details on that are included in the pattern. Suggestions are also included for women who have an ample bust so they can get the best fit possible.

Jilly is a single-ply fingering-weight yarn that knits up with a slightly larger gauge than most fingering-weights I’ve worked with. If you plan to substitute yarns, make sure to take the time to make a large swatch in the round and block it before measuring gauge. Most of my testers had great results using fingering-weight yarn. A number of them used Madelinetosh merino light, another single-ply fingering-weight yarn.
1055 (1145, 1225, 1325, 1445, 1565) yds fingering-weight yarn.
