Dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh, o’er the fields we go, laughing all the way. Bells on bobtail ring, making spirits bright, what fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight! Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way. Oh! what fun it is to ride In a one-horse open sleigh! Hey! Written by James L. Pierpont in the 1850’s it remains one of the best loved Christmas Songs.

Based on my love for the song and the memories it invokes I designed the 4th stocking in my series with this song in mind.

The stocking is knit from cuff to toe with a scalloped edge, an easily remembered wavy stripe pattern and a star toe. It is approx. 17” by 11” so there is plenty of room for Santa’s goodies. I hope you enjoy knitting Jingle Bells as much as I did designing this fun stocking.
