Janie and Jamie are Jingle Bunnies that are knit from the feet up all in one piece. The arms with raglan shaping as you go and the head is created using the same stitches you used for the body. Even the ears are knit directly onto the head by picking up stitches on the crown of the head and working in moss stitch. A lining for the ears is optional but does give the ears body and it is added in the same manner.
I created this pair in Patons Grace yarn as it has a beautiful sheen on the vibrant colours. In this way this pair can easily be thrown into the washer and dryer and be back in little loving hands quickly.

But the special detail of this bunny pair is that there is a jingle bell ball inserted into the tummy of the bunny. It instantly becomes a rattle for the wee ones and with the long legs and floppy ears Janie and Jamie are sure to be dragged around the house by little hands.

Easy to make, worked in one piece using stocking stitch and moss stitch, this adorable bunny will take you very little time and less than one 50g ball of yarn to complete.

Make one or make the pair. Great for an Easter gift or even for a baby gift this spring.

Janie and Jamie were worked in DK cotton yarn but they could be done in any scraps of stash yarn in your basket. Have fun creating them with a variety of colors and yarns. Embellish or not - the choice is yours.
Happy Knitting Everyone!
