The design for this necklace was inspired by the Mori fashion, which is a style built up on generous amount of laces, ribbons, flounces and layered clothes and accessories with a sprinkle of Gothic and Victorian soft and comfortable elements and fairy tales. The style is romantic and highly feminine. I hope I have embodied the Mori essence in this necklace.

I made this necklace in honor of my mother.
It is said that roses generally denote femininity, elegance and refinement, while paler shades denote grace and gentleness, admiration and happiness. So I hope you are inspired by someone who possesses these qualities and make this delicate and attractive necklace to show your love and affection.

  • light sport (fingering) and sport cotton yarn and 1.9 mm hook. Please consult hook recommendation on your yarn label.
  • a strip of taffeta for the rosettes

  • metal chain and jump rings

Used terms in American terminology: chain (ch), single crochet (sc), half double crochet (hdc), double crochet (dc), back post double single crochet (BPsc).
