A cool, light and airy cotton blanket to cover a newborn baby in a Basinette/basket.

Pattern involves mainly garter stitch and stocking stitch knitting with a simple crochet edge which is optional if you do not wish to crochet.

You could add more stripes if you wanted it to be bigger for a pram, pushchair or a cot.

I used 2 x 50g balls of lemon and 1.5 balls of raspberry and it so light and airy.

I used 5mm knitting needles and a size 4mm crochet hook.
