Johanna is a two color shawl with all of my favorite techniques: a mosaic style slip stitch pattern, texture, eyelet, and stripes combined in a way to make it look much more complicated than it actually is!

It begins with a garter tab cast on and transitions through 5 different but easily memorized stitch patterns and ends with your favorite stretchy bind off. Model was made using approximately 230 yds (210 m) DK yarn in Color 1 and 200 yards (183m) DK yarn in Color 2.

I always look for new (to me) and interesting yarn while on vacation. This year I found just what I waws looking for at Hidden River Yarns in Philadelphia. It was love at first sight when I saw this Youghiogheny Yarns Yough DK . After I got home, I realized I wanted more, found the shop on Etsy and was thrilled with their customer service and quick reply! If you haven’t tried this yarn, you should!

This design has been tested by several volunteers and Tech Edited by Kate Genco aka Kateb660 on Ravelry. Many thanks for all of your help! If you are looking for a great Tech Editor, I would highly recommend her.
