Join The Crew is a great pattern for using up leftover yarn as you only need a few grams of yarn for each section. So you can have fun deciding who becomes part of your crew

This pattern includes both a short-row and intarsia method of construction and colourwork. There is very little difference in the finished look, so which version you choose is purely down to personal preference (or you can just make both).

The short-row version (the first picture) is seamless, you just join as you go.

The intarsia version (the second picture) came out slightly larger than the short-row version and uses the mattress stitch to provide a seamless join.

Tutorials for the techniques used in the pattern are also provided.

For the sample in the first picture 6-7g of 4ply yarn was used for each triangle (four in total) and approx. 8g was used for each of the borders.

You’ll also need:
5 x 3mm dpns
16” or 20” 3mm cable needlength
Stitch holders or waste yarn.
