Join the Dots Baby Blanket is knitted using a simple slip stitch pattern.
Although the colours are speckled throughout, only one yarn is used on any row; making this an easy knit.

The fabric has a garter base (no purling!) which, with the slipped stitches forms a cushy warm blanket.

Using a solid colour for the main shade and a colour changing yarn for the contrast give a beautiful effect; for an equally striking blanket, try using two contrasting solid yarns.

Stitches are picked up along the side edge after knitting to complete the border.

Size: 64 x 84 cm / 24 x 33 inches.

Yarn: DK weight baby yarn in, Main Shade 600m / 660 yds and Contrast Colour 300m / 330 yds.

Needles: 3.5mm (US4) & 4mm (US6) circular.

Techniques used: knit, slipping stitches, picking up stitches for the border.
