A beautiful throw/blanket that is fast and fun to make. A variety of stitches as well as a new technique (as far as I know) for creating eyelets keeps you from getting bored. This intermediate level pattern features detailed written instructions that makes it easy to understand and follow even if you are new to doing more than ewrap and purl.

This pattern is written to make a throw/blanket that is roughly 68” x 48” using a 5/8” gauge cindwood loom with at least 147 pegs (I used the 48” universal cindwood s loom). However the pattern can be easily adapted to other looms and you can use more or less pegs depending on width you’d like to create.

In addition to the loom you will need roughly 1,600-1,700 yards of yarn. I highly recommend you buy an additional skein just in case! I used 10 skeins (162 yards each) of stylecraft life chunky prints in color honey, however would have had an easier time if I had purchased 11. Other bulky #5 weight yarns or thicker ww yarns can be substituted for this yarn.
