I have recently revamped this pattern to make it available as a PDF download rather than just via a blog link. I have also included some additional photos of the finished shawl where it is worked in a solid colour to show just how different it can look depending on the yarn you use.

The shawl was designed back when my children were tiny and I used it as a sneaky way of looking like I had made an effort and hiding a multitude of baby related stains. In these times of lockdowns and video calls I have renewed my love for the shawl and found that once again I can use it to look like someone who makes an effort with their appearance rather than someone who is probably wearing their pyjamas in the middle of the day and has just thrown a shawl on because they are too much of a skinflint to put the heating on which is what I actually am!
