These warm socks are knitted in a braided pattern resembling the ropes of a sailing vessel. They are made from the cuff down with braids running all the way down along the front, and also along the sides of the heel flap. The heel flap is reinforced, as are also the sections under heel and under toe – for extra warmth!

The pattern is available as individual pattern and as part of the Jolly Roger Suite, also including mittens, halfmitts and pulswarmers. It is also available in both English and Swedish.

Some words from the test knitters:

“They are darn cute and very warm. My DH loves them.”
“This was a pleasant knit and one that I would do again AND recommend to others.”
“Very nice sock … Perfect for the cold weather…”

By the way - do take a look at the very fine projects of my test knitters!
