The Josephine beret was designed as a special birthday gift for a friend who lives on the other side of the world. Katya designed and knit the beret for Jody (Josephine) . The beret then began it’s two week journey, traveling more than 5500 miles from Sayanogorsk, Siberia to Toronto, Canada. The warmth of this beret reaches around the world as a hug between friends.

Sized to fit a head circumference of approximately: 20 (22) in / 51(56) cm and shown in size 22 in / 56 cm.

Suggested yarns : Brilliant by Vita (45% Wool, 55% Acrylic; 415 yards (380 meters) / 100 g) – 200 g (using two strands of yarn held tog throughout), Classic Wool Merino by Patons, Charisma by YarnArt, Cool Wool by Elsebeth Lavold or any worsted /10 ply (9wpi) yarn that knits to the pattern gauge.
