Joviality – a state of merriment while playing outside with warm hands. These mittens begin with wrist snugging bands of interrupted horizontal rib. The stitch pattern switches to an insulating half brioche stitch for the hand. The mittens are designed in 4 sizes and include custom fit options. Instructions are both written and charted.

This mitten is knit in the round from the cuff to the fingertips. It begins with the Interrupted Horizontal rib cuff. The thumb gusset shaping begins as the Half Brioche pattern is worked over the hand and palm. After thumb gusset increase stitches are worked they are slipped to waste yarn while the hand is completed to the fingertips. The thumb is worked last.
