Elf is one of my favorite holiday movies. It’s the first movie we watch the Friday after Thanksgiving. This hat is inspired by the scene where Jovie is with the crowd in Central Park while Buddy and Santa are escaping the Central Park Rangers. Jovie leads the crowd in singing Santa Claus is Coming To Town while wearing the most beautiful cabled stocking cap. This isn’t a perfect knock off of that hat—but it’s pretty darn close!!

Knit pattern is knit in a way where you think of each type of cable in “sections.” It seems daunting, but it’s not too bad when you get the hang of it!
