In honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll on the occasion of her Diamond Jubilee, 2012.

The shawl is knitted in a special edition yarn spun for the Natural Dye Studio in British blue-faced leicester, silk, and stellina.

The yarn may be ordered online from The Natural Dye Studio here. The PDF pattern contains a discount code for a 20% reduction on the yarn price. Please enter the code at the Natural Dye Studio checkout when you make your yarn purchase.

The PDF pattern contains full written instructions, including row-by-row instructions for the stitch patterns involved. The stitch patterns are also charted, and a blocking diagram is provided with clear measurements in both imperial and metric units.

Techniques involved include short row shaping and lace knitting. The shawl must be blocked to open out the lace, and to shape the edging.
