Judy hates casting on. Since this scarf is knit lengthwise, and she would need to cast on 240 stitches, we named this scarf in her honor.

This scarf is mostly garter stitch (with rolled stockinette edges) and uses short rows. You’ll want to be familiar with wrap & turn. We explain how to pick up your wraps as you knit back, but honestly, they won’t show too much and if you don’t want to pick them up, I won’t tell anyone.

Be careful - if your gauge is larger, you may end up using more yarn, and might need more than is in your one skein.

You’ll also be picking up stitches on each end, so be familiar with that technique as well.
