This is a festive mystery stranded colourwork mitten pattern. Clues are released the following dates: 1st of December, 5th of December, 10th of December, 15th of December, 20th of December

Spoiler free chatter thread here. Spoiler filled chatter thread here. A finished-mitten thread will open towards the end of the month. You only need one finished mitten by 2020 to be in the prize draw.

The 2019 festive mystery mittens are the somewhat more whimsical sister mittens of the 2018 mystery mittens, Julenatt. That’s as much as I will say about the motif. As for the colours, go for two high contrast colours. I suggest keeping the contrast colour darker than the main colour, but that’s of course up to you.

I hope you will enjoy this pattern, and if you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me in my Ravelry group ‘Skeindeer Knits’. It’s the best place for swift support. Happy knitting!
