Julia is a touch of Spring at anytime. A super quick project, Julia may be knitted in an evening which is great for gift giving. A simple band of cables slowly work around the center leaf . The fun border is created with a drop stitch once the scarf is knitted.

This cowl may be knitted longer and sewn up the cast on edge to create a longer traditional scarf if desired. The flower pin adds a bit of Spring but may be omitted if desired.

Any type of yarn may be used to create this cowl. However the cowl is best when knitted in a chunkier weight. If working with dk or light weight double or triple the strands for a similar look.
