Toe-up stockinette socks with colorwork and gusset and flap heel.

Don’t let the 0s scare you. I use a smaller needle than you might need because I knit loosely. The actual gauge on the socks ranged 8.5-9 st/in. (Less st per inch=slightly larger).

Concepts/Techniques used:
Judy’s Magic Cast-on
Dutch heel turn & slip stitch heel
colorwork floats
twist, catch, weaving floats
picot bindoff using cable cast-on

This pattern was developed for the Reviving Socks: A Design Contest (May 2010). A tad overwritten, I was thinking about first-time colorworkers and recently-converted toe-up knitters. As my pattern-writing debut, I welcome observations and suggestions regarding the presentation of this pattern.
