These are simple mitts with a lacy insert. The lace pattern comes from Vogue Knitting Stitchionary, volume 5. The stitch is called June Bugs, and combined with the bright colours of the yarn, it made me think of summer and sun, so I decided to keep the name. The rest of the mitts is knit in stockinette, and later the edges are folded in and seamed to prevent rolling. I knitted the mitts with Magic Loop, but they can be easily knitted on DPN’s, too. I deliberately gave measurements in inches and not rows, as it gives you freedom to try on the mitts
and decide your own length.
