This is the June Skye Hat. It was created for a young lady on the East coast whom is battling Leukemia, based off one of her favorite Paw Patrol characters. I tried finding a pattern for it when I was commissioned to make it for her but couldn’t find anything I liked. So, with a hook in hand, a photo to look off of and my imagination, I came up with this.

I used all medium worsted weight yarn; Red Heart Super Saver Solids but you can use any type of yarn you wish, just will have to compensate for size desired. The beanie part can be done several different ways considering there are infinite ways to make a plain beanie cap. I only included the cap as a guideline for those who may be beginners. You can adjust up or down for whatever size you require.

I used just under a skein of buff for the beanie and earflaps.
Used less than half a skein for the other colors;
shocking pink for goggles, goggle strap and earflap chords
warm brown for ears, bangs and eye “patches” around eyes
aran for muzzle and bottom lip
Finally I used felt for the eyes. I like using felt only because it gives me the look I prefer. You may crochet eyes if you prefer to do so.
