What am I missing?
Junior Miss Outfit
This is a vintage pattern from Free Vintage crochet that I have done twice before (and am about to do again) as it has become a staple as a warm school cardigan for my children.
I have done this in basic dk and with a 3mm hook (although the pattern recommends a size c (2.75) I’ll update as to how this turns out in aran.
Remember that as this is a vintage pattern it is common for the size to come up small so I tend to crochet with a bigger hook for the extra inch or so.
It is easy to make this a shorter or longer cardigan and I suggest measuring your child for the real length of the sleeves.
You will love how professional the pockets and buttonholes look
The pattern instructions are really easy to understand and forgiving so this is an excellent beginner project.
I highly recommend recording the number of rows to avoid having peices of different lengths.
Happy Hooking Folks!
