♥ juniper wishing scarf ♥

Three long cables decorate this sweet soft
scarf that uses a whole skein for fringe!
Three is a magical wishing number so don’t
forget to wish on the cables. Though you’ll
probably have much better odds if you make
all of your wishes on the fringe! (its mega!)

you can get this pattern 2 different ways:

  1. it is featured in my new book Woodland knits.
  2. you can download the pdf right here on this page ♥

the technical stuff
Size: One size fits all. Omit fringe for men’s scarf.

Measurements: 78” x 6”. (54” long without 12” fringe.)

Yarn used: Bulky yarn such as:
MC: Misti Alpaca Chunky, 100 g - 108 yds - 99 m 100% alpaca, Color: 7238 Chartreuse Melange, 3 skeins total.
(2 skeins for the scarf & 1 skein for the mega-fringe!)

Tension/gauge:
Work 20 sts and 15 rows to measure 4x4” in Cable pattern using US 11 or 8 mm needles with MC. If you knit tightly go up a needle size, as this fabric should have loft.

Notions:
A pair of US 11 (8mm) needles 10” long, cable needle,
a large crochet hook for fringe, tapestry needle.
