Combine your something new and something blue with a lacy shawl named after the Roman goddess of marriage! Designed by Rae Blackledge, every stitch of this week’s free Willow Wednesday pattern is a symbolic tribute to your wedding day. From the rings knit into every lacy motif to the intertwining cables representing two lives becoming one. Knit with the superwash wool/silk blend of Willow Stream, this exquisite shawl lends lightweight warmth and elegance to your walk down the aisle and will become a cherished heirloom of your special day.

The Juno Shawlette is both charted and fully written out. Lace pattern is worked on both RS and WS rows. Shawl is knit from the bottom up, with the edging worked first, then stitches picked up along the edge and remainder of shawl is knit up from edging. To finish top edge sts are picked up and then BO with a beaded BO.
This shawl could easily be worked without beads as well, working each st as indicated without adding a bead after the stitch is worked.
