This is a unique pattern to create a slouch hat using only the chain stitch and slip stitch, which gives the hat a lot of stretch to fit almost any size head circumference. This pattern is written to give you the choice of what size of yarn you prefer to use. Pattern instructions are given for (size 1) size 3 crochet thread, (size 4) worsted weight yarn, or (size 6) super bulky weight yarn.

Crochet hook size N-15/10.00mm or size needed to obtain gauge.

Gauge:
Size 3 crochet thread: 18 chs = 2 inches.
Worsted weight yarn: 12 chs = 2 inches.
Super bulky weight yarn: 7 chs = 2 inches.
