Just a Wisp is an airy sleeveless v-neck top worked in lace weight yarn. Twisted stockinette stitch, reverse stockinette stitch and yarn overs are combined to create the delicately textured filigree lace pattern. The shaping of the top is straight through the bust and waist, but flared at the hip, with a split hem to create a relaxed silhouette. Knit from the bottom up, the front and back are worked side-to-side through the split hem, then joined and worked in-the-round to the underarm. The work is then divided for working side-to-side through the armhole and neck shaping, and completed with a three-needle bind off at the shoulders. An integral seed stitch border minimizes finishing work.

ERRATA:

In the instructions for the Back Split Hem, I forgot to clarify that when working the WS rows of the Filigree Pattern, the sts. will be worked in reverse order. The instructions should read:

For sizes S (L): For each RS row, work sts. 8-14 1 time, sts. 1-14 6 (8) times and sts. 1-8 1 time. For each WS row, work sts. 8-1 1 time, sts. 14-1 6 (8) times and sts. 14-8 1 time.
For size M: For each RS row, work sts. 1-14 8 times and work st. 1 1 time. For each WS row, work st. 1 1 time, sts. 14-1 8 times.
