This hat was designed as part of the Design Wars Challenge using Red Heart’s Heads Up yarn!

The “Just Leafy” Ski Hat & Slouch is full of texture from the band up, full of color versatility and comes with instructions on 5 different color band options! The pattern is classified as Intermediate and includes 5 different sizes: Toddler, Child (3-5yrs), Child (6-10yrs), Teen/Adult Small, Adult Medium/Large.

Designed to showcase the vibrant colors and endless color combinations in Red Heart’s newest line, Heads Up, the “Just Leafy” Ski Hat is sure to be a show stopper out on the slopes this winter!

With each new design, I’ve been known to incorporate a new
technique or stitch pattern and this design is no different. After all,
challenging our abilities is what helps us develop our skills. But don’t fret! This one incorporates the 3 “F’s”: Fun, Fast and Functional…and it may be a little addictive too.

Make it in a solid color. Make it in 10 colors. Make it with a big pom. Make it with a bitty pom. Make it with no pom at all. Make it to fit your individual style. (sorry if that sounded a little Dr. Suess-ish)
