Of course you are absolutely justified in buying a few balls of the softest and most luxurious yarn to make this warm winter wrap! Who could say otherwise?

Top down triangle in aran with a custom designed lace pattern, in the most buttersoft of cashmere yarns in a deliciously dark green, the colour of evergreen leaves. A joy to work with.

The lace has been designed to be easy and intuitive to knit and looks more complicated than it is.

Yarn requirements:
I used the beautiful, velvety Luxury Yarns Altopiano (dark green sample). Yarns with a majority natural fibre are recommended to allow for blocking.

Estimated yardage:
This is designed to fit - just - into 6 skeins and took 470m of the recommended yarn. Allow a extra for additional repeats if you wish to work them.

Construction, instructions and techniques
The shawl is knit top down from the centre. The lace is mostly patterned on the right side (there are some knit sts on the wrong side). The border chart has some decreasing in the wrong side.

Pattern is fully charted and also has full line by line written instructions. Main charts can be worked more or fewer times to re-size the shawl or to get a similar sized shawl using different weights of yarn.
