Pattern Notes

  • Pattern in booklet is chart-based only. Individual pattern includes written instructions for charts.
  • When casting on 2 sts on WS of shawl, use the knitted cast-on method.
  • After the CO, you will have 2 additional sts on the LH needle. Knit these sts, then continue with the chart. This is indicated on the chart as two symbols named “CO and knit 1 st”.
  • On rows starting with BO 2 sts, there is 1 st remaining on the right needle after binding off – this counts as the first knit st that follows the binding off. This is indicated on the chart as a symbol named “st rem after BO”.
