INTRO
Kachkeretta hat is a crocheted variation of my previous knitted Kachkereta cap. It is a fun, vibrant, unique headpiece and, unlike the knitted Kachkereta, the crocheted version has a detachable visor. This means you can wear it either as a newsboy cap or a beret, and therefore, you’ll always look different.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL, SKILLS, TECHNIQUES
Making Kachkeretta requires intermediate crochet skills and being familiar with crocheting in the rounds. Also, you should be familiar with chain stitches, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet. Additionally, this pattern includes special stitches such as front post double crochet, half double crochet in 3rd loop, and hidden stitch to finish rounds.

THE PATTERN
Kachkeretta cap is crocheted bottom up, starting from the ribbed edge. After finishing the crown and top, the visor is crocheted separately. The visor is double-sided, both sides are done in one piece, then folded and sewn to the cap. The final step includes sewing decorative buttons to the visor, which will enable attaching and removing it.
