To create a sweater by using only left over yarns from your stash is a challenging and creative work, which you really can enjoy as long as you are not fastidious or afraid of being imperfect.

If you want an absolutely perfect piece, keep away from it.

If you want an absolutely unique piece, this is the right pattern for you. And perhaps it turns out to be absolutely perfect.

The different tensions and qualities of the stripes are a welcome effect and emphasize the desired waste yarn look.

Examine your stash and pick any yarn of similar quality or gauge. They need not be too similar.
The variety of used yarn qualities can go from lace over fingering to DK. You can use any yarn unless it is too bulky. Very thin yarns can be held double stranded if necessary.

Sort out the thickest yarn for the neckline, the bottom band and the cuffs. They give stability to the piece like a frame.

Have fun and enjoy the process of creativity in this project from the ‘artist kafrin’ collection.
