Kaitumjaure is a cosy cowl designed to give all those little scraps and leftovers a new place in the spotlight. The yarn I have used in my design is just a suggestion, i highly recommend you to dig into your stash for your own personal favorites. To chose yarn with a little halo gives the cowl a beautiful touch. Also, please observe that when I used the Angorett I held it double. Happy knitting!

Yardage requirements:
Main color: 105 meter (sand)
Contrasting color 1: 75 meter (mustard)
Contrasting color 2: 15 meter (red)
Contrasting color 3: 10 meter (plum)

The name Kaitumjaure comes from a small lake by the Kings Trail in Swedish Lapland, one of the worlds most beautiful hiking trails. The magnificent and unexplored nature together with the hikers love for wool inspired me to design this cowl. Hopefully this is the first of many more to come in my new collection Greetings from Swedish Lapland

This design was first published as a part of the welcome booklet for the Knitting Festival (SIV) at Grötö 2014 and are now available here at ravelry.
