Kaleidoscope is a yoke style necklace, fun and easy to make, using a garter stitch, slip bead method, and short rows. In a few hours you can make a necklace to go with a favorite outfit or gift for a friend, though you may find it a challenge to give it away.
The most difficult part of making it is deciding what bead colors to use. I strongly prefer Miyuki glass beads because they are not only beautiful but have reliable ports. Try mixing up the bead types, using transparent, frosted, lined, coated or even different shapes. Choose a lovely yarn, merino wool with a little silk (up to 30%) works well.
Comfy even in summer, you will forget you have it on until someone pays you a compliment on it.
