Please note: This pattern has not been test knitted. If you find errors in the charts, or if the instructions are confusing in any way, please do not hesitate to PM me.

Also requires approximately 300 size 8 seed beads for cast on edges.

There are two versions of this pattern available: a “basic” version, in which the lavender whorls stay the same length throughout; and an “adventurous” version, in which they get shorter and shorter as you near the center of the stole. The basic version has a 50 row repeat. In the adventurous version, there is a 325 row chart.

At the moment, this pattern assumes that knitters are already familiar with vertical/stacked pooling. If you need help with planned pooling techniques, be sure to visit the Pooled Knits, which offers links, resources, and a very helpful forum. Gladys We also has a great tutorial for getting started with pooling on her designer page here on Ravelry.

3-20-11 Update: Both versions now have charts that include marker placement.
