This cozy cowl in two sizes (petite/tall) is encircled by large leafy motifs drawn straight from the kale patch. This stranded colorwork project takes advantage of a deep, nearly solid foreground color to create distinct shapes with highlights in brighter tones. A tweed yarn for the background shade imparts a woodcut effect to the whole composition. Use soft, lofty yarns that will bloom easily for a final result with a consistent surface.

Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size and drape. Modeling shots available soon!

Patterns for coordinating Lacinato Cap or Headband pattern or Colcannon Mittens may be purchased separately

Cowl is shown in size S, knit in Bare Naked Wools Stone Soup DK, color River Rock and Spirit Trail Fiberworks Zalti, colorway Devilla Forest.
