Kanga(roo) Scarf
A very comfortable to wear shawl/scarf, excellent for keeping shoulders warm during cool winter evenings. Ribbing and cable pattern naturally keeps shawl/scarf sitting comfortably on the shoulders. Pockets are optional, but an added plus for keeping reading glasses, a small paperback, iPOD, tissues, or whatever you want handy.
A unisex pattern that would suit anyone. The gauge is 4sts/inch, but, not really important as this is not a fitted garment. Length is up to you, my sample is 56” total length, and I used up about 3.6 skeins of Malabrigo Rios.
Disclaimer: Although I am a long-time knitter, this is my first attempt at actually writing a pattern. Please contact me if you find any errors.
