An easy and quick knit for a soft straight scarf. It’s knit from both ends and when reaching the center they are joined together with kitchener stitch. The pattern starts with bunches of little diamonds, that mount up to the center and grow larger as the scarf grows. The lace parts are easy to follow and great for ‘lefty’ knitters.

This scarf is the fourth pattern I’ve designed with the same diamond stitch pattern. It’s also the fastest one I’ve knit up in a long time. The first two patterns in the series are still on my drawing board, as I haven’t found the right yarn to make them with, nor the time to do it. The third pattern is the first one that made it all the way to publishing, it’s the Kant & Diamanten III shawl, a big triangular/crescent shaped shawl.
